"I had a fabulous experience in Rio, conducting this monumental Shostakovich Symphony. Especially important was the contribution of the Coro Sinfonico do Rio de Janeiro, who showed inmense intensity and serious work for this daunting piece. The commitment to the language, style and precision are also a tribute of their master, Maestro Moretzsohn, whom I want to thank deeply for his contribution. I truly hope to meet this excellent group of singers again."
